Every consultation is documented in a structured way - including concern, findings and measurements such as blood pressure, pulse or blood sugar. Values outside the reference range are flagged automatically.

The patient record can be shared read-only with external physicians - secured by SMS code, time-limited and revocable at any time.
How a televisit works
From the record to the medical assessment.
The flow is designed for situations where qualified staff is on site and medical expertise joins via video or afterwards - for example in nursing care.
Create the record
The patient is created once in the patient record with master data, pre-existing conditions and medication - after that, the record grows with every contact.
Document the consultation
Concern, observations and assessment are captured in a structured way - on request also by medical assistants or nursing professionals with extended permissions.
Capture measurements
Blood pressure, pulse, oxygen saturation, blood sugar, weight, body temperature and respiratory rate - directly in the consultation, with a flag for abnormal values.
Share the patient record
The treating physician shares the patient record with external colleagues - with an expiry of 24, 72 or 168 hours and an SMS code.
External review
External physicians open the record with its consultations and measurements read-only in the browser - no account, no installation. Every access is logged.
Join via video
If needed, a video appointment is arranged directly from the share - the external physician joins the call as a guest.

If a deterioration is noticed during a home visit, observation and measurements go into the consultation. The medical assessment follows via video or afterwards through the share.

For consults, locum arrangements or a second assessment, the patient record is shared specifically - instead of sending findings by fax or unencrypted email.

Who can share a patient record?
Sharing with external physicians is deliberately reserved for the organization's doctors. Medical assistants and nursing professionals with extended permissions can document and capture measurements - the decision to share remains a medical one.

Does the external physician need a MeetOne account?
No. Access works via a protected link plus a one-time SMS code - without any registration or installation. The optional video appointment also works as guest access in the browser.

Which measurements can be captured?
Preconfigured are blood pressure, pulse, oxygen saturation, blood sugar, weight, body temperature and respiratory rate - each with a stored reference range. Abnormal values are flagged, and the history per measurement is available over time.

Can nursing staff also organize video appointments?
Yes. Medical assistants and nursing professionals can create appointments on behalf of the physicians and, with extended permissions, also join the video call themselves - for example to guide the camera on site.

Does the patient record replace our practice management system?
No, and it is not meant to. The MeetOne patient record is deliberately lightweight and tailored to the telemedicine workflow - consultations, measurements, documents and shares. Billing and administration stay in your PMS.

How is a televisit billed?
Billing depends on your setup - for example as a video consultation via the EBM or within a cooperation agreement under Section 119b SGB V in a care home. MeetOne provides the certified video service and the documentation, but does not replace billing software.
